Event Recap:
Small Business Series-
Canva Workshop

July11th, 2023
Elevate Team

Next in our Small Business Series we hosted a Canva Workshop!

During this event, Kelly walked us through her organizations and tips and tricks she uses to streamline her creating process (like creating multiple Pinterest Pins for a blog post in just a few minutes). We also talked about how to use the AI features and how they can help save some time on your next project.

Canva has become a popular choice among people who are creating content for small businesses for a few reasons.

Firstly, we all agreed, the platform offers a wide variety of templates, fonts, and graphics that can help users quickly create professional-looking designs in a short amount of time. The Brand Kit is a game changer!! Being able to use consistent fonts and color throughout my desinds save me hours when trying to create cohesive material.

Secondly, Canva is easy to use, even for those with limited design experience. Whether it’s graphics or presentations, the drag-and-drop functionality makes it easy to customize templates and create unique designs. Simply starting with a template and making just a few adjustments can be simple even for a first time user and have a content done quickly.

Finally, the pricing is affordable, with options for both free and paid plans depending on your needs. With all the subscriptions to keep up with as a small business owner or entrepreneur, Canva has combined a few for me that have been so helpful (Illustrator, Word Document, and even paying for stock photos)

In short, Canva is changing the game and so helpful for us small business owners who are wearing all the hats and doing all the things. Thanks to Canva we can easily create high-quality marketing materials without spending a lot of time or money!

Join us at our next workshop at Elevate Coworking as we gather to learn ways to Elevate your businesses!
